Hinsdale Public Library

Our Staff
We have a wonderful staff waiting to assist you at the library. What are you waiting for? Drop on by and see us!
Allow us to introduce ourselves.
David Van Braemer is our Teen liaison and resident artist. He's here Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays to help you find things to watch and is particularly good with graphic novels.
Lauren Paro is our fantastic Children's Librarian. She's taken 3 out of 4 Basic Library Techniques courses, so she's quite an expert. Why watch cartoons on Saturday mornings when you can join us at the Library?
Sue Shelsy fills any scheduling gaps and does excellent reader's advisory and cataloguing work.
Tina Martin does some of the behind the scenes work. She's the one that gets your books ready to check out. Tina's here Wednesday and Thursday.
Mary Lunsford does super adult reader's advisory work.
I'm BWS Johnson. I have my Master of Science degree in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign . I am honoured to be the President
of the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System. I also serve as the Second Vice President of the Western Massachusetts Library Club . I'm here Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. That changes a lot because of meetings and vacations for staff members, so if you need me specifically, please call the Library ahead of time at 655 2303 to check if I am on duty. Feel free to stop in and tell us how we're doing.
You can even check out what I'm reading.
